Your Roadmap to Success
For those who don’t know me, I’m a Business Strategist and Coach and I am the CEO of She Business.
As I’m a detailed planner, my message today is about how I can be of service to you in the planning area of your business.
Did you know only 6% of business owners do any form of planning in their business? Staggering isn’t it?
I’ve spent the last 30 years working with small business owners, sorting out the mess they get themselves into by jumping into business without a plan or clear path forward. What I see time and time again is havoc, simply created by not having a strategic plan and following it.
The key to running a successful business is a dynamic strategic business plan, broken down into divisional, more detailed plans, in the areas of sales and marketing, finance, operations and HR. It doesn’t have to be long and detailed. Being succinct and to the point will ensure you use it.
Key elements include:
- Having a budget and cash flow forecast which drives every other aspect of your plan.
- Having a marketing strategy. Marketing performs better with a clear plan. My own business has grown 300% in the last year and all I did differently was closely follow my plan. I had my roadmap and I followed it.
If you haven’t done so already, create your plans and tap into them weekly. It’s what I do, and it’s certainly worked for me and my business over the last year.
