Flex your social media muscle – with us!

by on 07 September 2017 in She Business Blog

One of the things I love about our She Business community is when we share with each other and learn from each other. You get to know the expertise of other members and you can share your expertise with them. It’s a win-win for everyone.

I see this play out most beautifully on our social media channels. The way our community interacts on social media really epitomises what we’re about: support, asking for help, offering help and stepping up – sometimes out of your comfort zone. That’s the way you really, truly grow.

So I have a challenge for you: we want you to collaborate with us on our social channels. This is your chance to promote your business. Show us – and the wider world – a little ‘behind the scenes’ peek into your business and the products/services you offer.

Here’s how it works…

Instagram takeover

Each week, we’re asking one She Business member to take over our Instagram account for the week. Post some pics of ‘a week in the life’ of your business, some inspirational images, or some snaps from your forum group or Inner Circle.

Check out the She Business Instagram page to see the first 2 week’s guest posts from members,

Stephanie Campanella and Ruth Newman. That should give you some ideas of how you can contribute.

Facebook Friday

Yes, it’s back! You may have noticed, we’ve re-launched Facebook Friday in the Member’s Lounge

Facebook Friday works a little differently to the Instagram takeover. Anyone can play. The idea is to post something to encourage engagement on your business Facebook page: an interesting fact, a question, or an offer. Copy your page’s URL on the Member’s Lounge post, tagging another member to do the same, to get them involved. Then you visit another 2 members’ pages and interact with their post. It boosts engagement all round and helps you get to know what products/services other members offer while promoting yours.

Practice makes perfect

If you’re new to social media marketing, this is a great opportunity to practice getting more engagement with your audience. It’s a great way to sharpen your social marketing skills and get some discipline around posting regular content for your followers. If you’re an old hand at social media marketing, then this is another way to boost your profile!

And in any case, you can support other She Business members: like their page, comment on their posts and build the momentum.

So what do you think? Let’s get social – together.

Have an awesome week!

Regards,

Monica
